Rebecca, home childcare in Edinburgh EH1

My name is Rebecca, I am an experienced nanny from Australia. My husband and I will be moving to Edinburgh in late September 2016.
I am writing to express my interest in a Full Time Live-Out Position (min 26 hrs p/w) for a family within Edinburgh and to submit my resume for your review. I am available to work Monday - Friday from 7am until late at the rate of 22 Pounds per hour.

All children should be provided with opportunity and support to grow socially, emotionally and intellectually.  Keeping this philosophy in mind, I believe I am a cut above the rest of the candidates available.

I have 4 years in-depth industry-specific experience of working with children aged 4 months to 5 years at Normanhurst Long Day Care, with one years experience as an Assistant Room Leader within the Toddlers and Babies Rooms. This position has provided me with all necessary skills to be successful within the Early Childhood industry. I have thoroughly enjoyed my position as an educator for young children and am truly passionate about my work with young children. 

I am currently working as a Full Time Nanny for two families in Cammeray and Mosman in Sydney, Australia. I am responsible for the care of two girls, 17 and 18 months old. This position has provided me with such joy and great experience as a private nanny; and I truly believe this career is very well suited to my skills set.

Through my studies and experience, I have gained the understanding of children’s development in their various stages of life, and my aim is to foster the growth of the physical, cognitive, emotional and social attributes of a child's well being. I currently possess the following qualifications:

-Completed First Aid in Childcare 2014, specialising in Emergency Asthma Management, Management of Anaphylaxis and CPR.
-Approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Meadowbank TAFE
-Diploma of Events Management - TAFEWorking towards
-TEFL – Teaching English as a Foreign Language (currently completing)

Along with my previous experience and area of study, I will make a valuable contribution to any family. I believe I would excel within this role because of what I bring to this position. With a combination of qualities - focused, versatile, dependable, multi-task oriented, flexible, positive, organised, creative and enthusiastic; I believe I would be an asset to any home along with my strong beliefs in supporting children.
