Nadine, baby sitting in Ely

I am looking for a part time or one off jobs in childcare in the Cambridge area (I live in Ely).
I have just returned from Rome where I have worked since January as an au pair for a family of 4, with a 9 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. I have been an au pair twice before, with another family in Rome and a family in Paris.

I've been babysitting for 4 years for different families, ages ranging from 6 months to 14 years old. For one of these families, I was with the children from around mid-morning to late evening, so I am able find activities for the children to keep them happy all day.
Before this, I volunteered for 3 years with a local Brownie guide group where I planned activities and kept the children busy.

My qualities include being patient and kind, which I believe are very important when it comes to caring for children! Also, I know when it is necessary to be stern, so if there is a bedtime or a schedule, it will be upheld. I passed 10 GCSEs and have 3 A levels in French, Psychology, and Sociology from Hills Road Sixth Form College, so would be happy to help with any homework the children may have. I can cook meals, so would be happy to help out in the kitchen.

I have previous experience with many families, one of whom I babysat for regularly. Their 3 children were 14, 11, and 9 when I met them 2 years ago (a boy and two girls, respectively). We often went to the park to play cricket, or the girls play on the equipment whilst I kept watch ( and joined in!). We also went swimming at the local pool, or took walks through town before going to a field to play sports or tag games.
