My name is Charita , 52 years of age. I'm originally from the Philippines but now living in UK permanently. I obtained my citizenship 15 yrs now.

I use to do caring job when I first came to UK, both in nursing homes and community caring. I have done it for few years. I have also worked in the tills with some known super markets. I took those jobs as a break from caring, but then went back to caring again but as a personal carer. Until these resent years I have decided to try on the nannying job since I have also obtained a child care certificate. So this is the job I'm doing now and I really find it enjoyable. Having my three girls now all grown up, it makes my days of looking after my own children comes alive again. My three girls by the way all grow up to be good individuals. They are now living their own happy life.

If I have to drive and do house works and help with homework then I suppose £10p/h is just reasonable rate. But I will consider occasional late off work as I'm sure it does happen sometimes. I will not charge for up to 1.5 hour. But if overtime goes beyond 1.5 hrs.; then I should be paid overtime not including the 1 first 1 hr.
