Jasmine, home childcare in Hove BN3

I am a 21 year old graduate from surrey. I have recently relocated to Brighton/ Hove area looking for work.

I am looking for work from babysitting to nannying. I have experience in looking after children ages 6 months - 8 years, but I cable of looking after older children.

In my previous experience I have been a session leader for a children's choir where I taught songs and dances to children mainly 5-7 years old on a weekly basis. I have also chaperoned a group of children in this age group for their annual performances. Responsibilities included: Taking the register, safeguarding the children, playing games, teaching vocal warm ups, song and dances.

I have also had some experience of caring for children from 10 months old - 4 years old, where I have worked at a nursery. Responsibilities included: Safeguarding the children, playing with them, changing nappies, helping to feed the younger children, reading, singing and tidying around the nursery.

I have a First Aid Certificate (Online Speed Course) which I took for my job at the choir. and I have two separate DBS checks, which are both still valid. I have a full (clean) driving license (since August 2014).

I am very happy to cook and help around the house and help with homework. My Dad is also a secondary school teacher who teaches children in year 7 up to 2nd year of sixth form/ College. He specialises in english, geography, religious studies and history, so I can get reliable homework help from him if your child is struggling with homework.

I also love animals, so any pets won't be an issue, I can also help with any animals (e.g feed, clean out cages (rabbits, rodents) walk any dogs). I have 3 family pets, 2 labradors and 1 guinea pig.

I am also very musical, I can sings, play guitar, a bit of ukulele and piano.

I am patient, kind and responsible. When looking after children I encourage productive, safe play and use a more caring approach when they are hurt or upset.
