Ella, home childcare in Inverness IV2

Hello!
I am Ella, I am 49 yrs and married. I recently moved back to Scotland after living in USA for 6 years. I was raised in Wester Ross and lived in Edinburgh as an adult. My husband and I decided to relocate to Inverness to settle here. I am adopted, born in USA but raised in Scotland. I have dual nationality. I have 8 siblings and several nieces and nephews. It was a busy house growing up!
I enjoy a variety of interests, including travel, creative writing and cooking. We recently returned from a 2 month trip of Australia, New Zealand and Asia! . I am quite a chilled out and laid back person, I have been told I am very calm with children and easy to get on with.
I am looking to care for one or two children in their home, either full time or part time. I would prefer to care for infants and or toddlers. I do not drive so I may be more suited to a family who don’t need a driver. I am happy to go for long walks, parks, local toddler groups for socialisation and activities within the home. I enjoy doing art and crafts and reading to children. I think books are very important, even with very young babies. I don’t mind if you have pets in the home. I can also assist with light housework if needed. I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1992 and I have a wide variety of experience , being a nanny and in nurseries in Edinburgh and USA. I also spent sometime working with the elderly in their homes as well.
