I have had a strong interest in childcare and education since a young age and have always enjoyed the every day challenge of being able to provide children with the care they need. I enjoy working with both children and their parents to build a bond and work in partnership with them to encourage development.
I have lots of experience working with children not only in the UK but in various countries around the world. I'm creative and pro-active and love every area of childcare; from the cooking and cleaning to the taking care of every child's needs.
I believe that children should have structure and clear boundaries to their play and learning but without taking away the element of fun so they can have freedom to be creative, independent and build confidence and self-esteem.
I have a diploma in Early Years as well as a BA in Childhood Studies besides having First Aid training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates. My most recent job was at a daycare in Australia. There I oversaw the day to day care and supervision of the children and helped organise and implement activities and crafts during free time. My ever-growing experience has enabled me to extend my knowledge and skills in order to become a versatile employee.
My previous employers have commended me on my punctuality, commitment and focus. I believe that my motivation, professionalism and experience will make me an asset to the team.
