Hello my name is Samantha.

I am qualified to NVQ Level 3, proficient in all areas of childcare. I am an OFSTED Registered Nanny with nanny insurance. I have just passed an OFSTED inspection. I am CRB approved, and hold a valid 1st Aid Certificate.

I enjoy becoming part of the family, and creating strong bonds with both the children and parents. (References available).
My current family are also willing to meet any potential families if needed.

I have strong communication skills, and experience with other childcare professionals.
I am well organised, professional, calm, patient, fun and hardworking.
I have worked with children for 6 years.
I have worked within childcare settings, and as a sole charge nanny for different families.
I have experience with children from the age of 3 months up to 15 years, and also have experience with twins.

I have looked after a family with 4 children (1year, 5year, 7year, 14year)

Currently working for a wonderful family, a QC and a television producer with 2 children (3 year and 6 year).
I have known the family for 5 years and worked for 2 years as their nanny.

Also currently babysit and work 2 Sundays a month for a family with 3 children (6 months, 1 year and 3 years).

My duties have included :

Daily activities and education. E.g reading, writing, maths, language, painting, play doh, games, role play, outdoor games.
Bathing.
Bedtime routines, including bathing.
Morning routines.
Taking the older children to school and picking up from school.
Having other children (friends) over to play.
Teaching about safety on the roads.
Sole care of the baby throughout the day. Taking the baby to play groups to mix with other children, sing, play and get messy.
Maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
Cooking and feeding.
Maintaining cleanliness of house. (Ironing, changing childrens bedding)
Sorting out childrens bedrooms if needed.
Organising clothes, toys.
Helping with childrens homework.
Organising all aspects of the childrens routine, including school work and after school activities. (Swimming, gym, scouts, ballet).
Crafting and baking.
Outdoor and messy play.
Trips and days out. (Think tank, Drayton manor, zoo, park, indoor play, bowling, fun fair, farm).
Responsible for the running of the house, and running errands.
Organising and running childrens birthday parties, including food, making the cake, party bags, decorating etc.
Responsible for sorting out fancy dress outfits for the many different events at school (Easter bonnet parade, christmas, world book day etc ).
Spending the weekend looking after the children whilst the parents go away.
Working anywhere from 3 hours to 14 hours.
