Julie, home childcare - IV9 Avoch

Hello! I am a recently qualified child care practitioner with several years experience in child care centres, working with a range of ages from 6 months to 6 years.
I am passionate about looking after children and supporting their play, needs and development, I enjoy spending time with children and learning about their interests. I would enjoy getting to know the families and work closely with them to support their needs and wishes. I am honest, reliable with a good timekeeping record, I like to be organised and prepared for what ever may come my way during the day. I do not drive as of yet but once I have a steady income I will invest in driving lessons! However I regularly use the bus services so I do not mind a bit of extra travel!
In my last setting I enjoyed preparing games and activities that were suited to the children's age and stage of development, I have photographic evidence and observations of some of my work and activities as well as a completed Graded Unit in which I carried out my own investigation on encouraging Mark Making within the early years environment.
