Helen, home childcare - LE11 Loughborough

Hello, my name is Helen and I work as a Nanny/Mother's Help. I really enjoy my job as I like working with children in a home setting and with an individual family.

I have worked in childcare since I left college qualifying as a Nursery Nurse in 2000. I have worked at a workplace nursery and at primary schools. I have also worked as a Childminder and minded for eight and a half years. It was lovely to have the opportunity to work with a range of ages of children and to work in partnership with their parents.

I have two children of my own, both primary school aged. As a Mum myself I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else to look after your child, particularly when they are very young.

I am honest, trustworthy and a positive thinking person. I treat all children equally and have a professional yet friendly manner.

I can provide references and are available for an immediate start. Ideally I am looking for nannying/mother's help work that fits in with looking after my own children, although it is possible to sometimes arrange childcare for them.

I feel I could help a new Mum returning to work by helping to make it a smooth transition, and ensuring that they felt comfortable leaving their child in my care.
