Kate, home childcare in London WC2R

I would like to apply for this job as I feel I would be an excellent candidate for this position, I feel with my background skills I would fit in well with this job position. I have my work history and references available at request.

I have a good education including 10 GCSE including english, maths and science and 3 further a-levels and a BA digital photography. Having had a child while studying for my degree I feel that although I do not have any formal qualifications in childcare I do have a great deal of knowledge with children. Having done babysitting for children aged 3-8 and having worked in a primary school in a year 1 class and also helping out my mother who is a year 5 teacher and having a 1 year old son I feel I have a lot of knowledge about children.

With the experience I have picked up over the years I can say I'm extremely easy to talk to and approach, I have a positive outlook on life and a can do attitude. I have worked in customer service and have picked up many skills along the way including how to talk to different people and how to help them in the best way possible, working in retail it has made me very aware of how to deal and talk to customers. Having these skills will always help you in life especially when dealing with parents of children.

I would like to add I am extremely tidy and I know how messy the house can get with children but I would always make sure it would be clean for when you are back , as well as making home made food for the children such as spaghetti bolognese, Chilli, Pasta dishes and many more.

I am a young energetic determined person who never gives up and will get the job done no matter how hard it is for example is my driving test I failed four times and even though I felt like giving up I was determined to see it through and I am extremely grateful I did.

I know although I do not have the qualifications in childcare, I do have the knowledge of looking after children and in the future I am looking to do a pgce to become a teacher, however in the meantime I would like to gain more experience.
