Hello! My name is Natasha.

I am looking for full or part time care, babysitting and can offer after school/holiday care.

I am trustworthy, honest, reliable, organised and like to follow routines the children are used to and will respect parents wishes regarding feeding, sleeping, activities, homework etc. As well as helping parents, I would like to be able to help children to develop and strive in a positive environment. I find myself to be very patient and understanding of children and their individual needs providing a loving and nurturing environment.

I have previously planned activities focusing on specific areas of development parents have requested, for example, I planned an activity based on building relationships with peers as a parent was concerned about their child’s personal, social and emotional development.

Messy play is a main focus of mine as it can allow the children to explore and experiment different textures and allow them to express themselves but also teach them the importance of being able to clean up and help tidy things away. Messy play can teach children different ways to make marks, mix colours, develop hand eye coordination and learn new ways to use everyday objects.

I have lots of ideas for fun activities and games to engage children’s attention of all ages, although my professional experience has been with 6 months - 5 years old, I have had experience with children from 5-13 within family.

The games and activities I have previously carried out with a group of children have all been successful in engaging the children and most importantly, having lots of fun!

I prefer to engage children in play with physical items such as a board game, puzzles, footballs or water play rather than an electrical device such as a television or tablet.

I am willing to undertake activities parents may need such as a shopping trip to find a present for friends or family member, completing homework, practising an instrument, attending after school clubs such as beavers or rainbows and life skills such as cooking, personal hygiene and practising writing skills.
