Rebecca, home childcare in North shields

Hi my name is Rebecca , I am 21 and I live in North Shields and also own a car. I don't have any college child care qualifications but have gcse in child development and done 1 year of health and social care in the college. I currently babysit my twin nieces aged 11 often and have done from them being born. As there mam works in a chemist out of school hours. I pick them up from school and bring them to either there home most of the time or sometimes they chose to come to my home. I make sure they get changed from there uniform so that I can either wash it if needed or fold up to wear for the next day. I make there tea, mostly there choice of food or I will prepare something before they finish. I will do activities with them which include arts and crafts, playing board games, doing activities outside, going to the park or just for a walk locally. I also occasionally babysit my goddaughter who has just turned 3 I have baby sat her since birth. I babysit her if her mam is at work or if she is wanting/needing to go out somewhere I also ask to have her to take her places e.g. Soft play, activity centre, parks, swimming etc. I often make her food, do activities with her and play with her toys with her. I have experience changing nappies, feeding babies their bottles, bathing them and putting them to bed. I have been brought up with many children and from the age of 11 I have been babysitting children from birth to around 11 years. I enjoy making sure children are having fun and if there learning through this process even better! I am able to get references from family members, who's children I care for.
