Hello, my names Lauren, I’m 19 years old and I’m currently in full time work, which I’m looking to leave so I can progress in something else, such as childcare. I’ve looked after family members since they were a very young age. I also did my work experience in a nursery which I thoroughly enjoyed. Prior to my job now, I worked in care for a year, this was caring for the elderly. I’m a very caring person, I’m very mature for my age and my family means a lot to me. I’ve also previously cared for my nan and grandad. I’m easy going, love to make people happy and laugh, very bubbly and chatty, and easy to get along with. I know I’m quite young but I’m willing to learn new things and new ways to care for people that need specific care. I don’t currently drive but it’s something I’m working towards. I’d like to provide care day to day as ive previously done live in but I didn’t quite think it was for me.
