Hi! My name's Laura and I'm looking to find a role with a local family
as a nanny and/ or babysitter. I'm currently looking to complete my Masters in History with a view to go on to a Phd in the coming years. With a love of art, gardening, reading, writing, cooking and the outdoors, I love the opportunity to bring these interests and passions into any role I should be offered, and hopefully create a bond with children in my care.
I place massive value on imagination and the outdoors, and feel these are things that should be increasingly encouraged in children, forming an important part of the bond that is created with a child.
I worked for two and half years for a family of four children living in Wimbledon, from making their meals to cleaning the house, whilst caring for the children, from homework help to school pick ups and bed and bath time. It was an exciting and thoroughly rewarding time, and has given me experience I only hope to bring to future roles. Prior to this I had experience working as a babysitter.
