Gwen, home childcare in Old colwyn LL29

I have been working within Childcare and Education for the past 12 years. I am a fluent Welsh speaker and have recently returned to Wales from Scotland with my daughter who is now 13 months old.

Previously, I was living and working in Scotland. I worked within a number of private nurseries over the 3 years within different roles. Within those roles I developed my skills as a manager and mentor as well as a teacher and childcare worker. I quickly adjusted to using the curriculum for excellence and the pre birth to three. I discovered that I had strengths in areas not yet challenged as a primary school teacher. I am a confident mentor and a strong team leader and this was proven in my role as Deputy Manager in a busy Edinburgh nursery.

I qualified as a primary school teacher at Bangor University North Wales and worked as a teacher within Conwy County from 2009 – 2011.

I am also a highly creative individual and use my creativity in many aspects of my work. This being within my planning, evaluating or delivery of teaching or training.

I am confident that I have the enthusiasm, skills, knowledge and experience needed for these positions. I look forward to hear from you soon.
