Dear family,
My name is Kati and I come from Poland, however, in 2004 I moved to the UK and lived there until July 2012 when I decided to move to Spain. I’ve recently came back to England and even though I’m currently based in Buckinghamshire, I’m moving to Bournemouth on 21st of October. With regard to my career objective, I’m planning to find a job within child or vulnerable individuals care because these are the fields in which I am mostly experienced and passionate about.
At the moment I work as a massage therapist on a self-employed basis as I’m really into alternative medicine and well-being and I’d like to continue pursuing my second profession.
My work experience involves about 3 years of working in social care environment when I supported vulnerable individuals including children in care; and about 4 years of working with children as a nanny for private employers and support worker at nurseries and schools. I have also completed my degree in Psychology which included modules such as Developmental Psychology and Developmental Disorders. The children I have worked with include those aged between 8 months and 18 years old (also older ones). On some occasions children I cared for expressed challenging behaviours or required additional/special needs, and I have a great level of experience in this area.
Regarding a nanny role, my duties mainly included taking children to and picking them up from schools/nurseries, organising activities for them, playing games with them including those that encourage cognitive development, supporting them with homework, cooking and preparing food for them, and really performing all tasks that correlate to the care of children, appropriately to their age. I’m not a fun of TV or computer games and I love to engage children in art activities that stimulate their creativity or sport and outdoor activities in general. I have been very motivated by this sort of work and have been getting a lot of satisfaction from it, thus, I want to continue my work with children.
I can provide your children with fun, but stimulating environment when rules and manners are kept in place. Also, reliability is a priority for me, so you would not be disappointed in terms of punctuality and organising work schedule. I have had a lot of positive feedback from my employers as well as those that I have looked after; therefore, I can provide you with good references. Regarding myself, I am very outgoing person who loves nature and life and tries to focus on its positive sides. I am very enthusiastic and sporty person, thus, I can easily keep up with children's energy. I am familiar with house management duties and I am happy to carry them out.
If you are interested in me and would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Occasional babysitting | $7.00 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $8.00 per hour |
According to my experience, my hourly rate of £ 8.00 is the minimum I can work for in the circumstances where there is a sole child care required. I can always negotiate regarding babysitting since in this case less effort is needed.
