Jessany, home childcare - SO23 Winchester

Hi! I'm Jessica I'm 18 years of age and live in Winchester. I am currently studying Cache Level 3 Childcare and Education at Eastleigh College and will be a qualified practitioner on the 23rd June 2016. My qualification specialises me in Early Years and covers ages from birth to 7 years.

As part of my childcare course it requires me to work at a nursery on alternate weeks I carried out this placement at a local nursery in Winchester . I have had work experience here since September 2014 to October 2015 and have enjoyed my time there. I worked with children from 6 weeks old to 5 years.

For the second year of my course I require me to work at a local school in Winchester on alternate weeks. I have started this placement in October 2015 and enjoying my time here so far.

I have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how to plan and asses children for their stage of development.

In my spare time I have been a baby sitter, which I am qualified for through “Teen Angel Babysitters”
