I am currently working as a Customer Service Advisor at Benfield Motor Group.
This role consists of calling customers to gain feedback from a visit into dealerships. The role is a very demanding role as I have a daily target to hit and also deal with various customer complaints and requests. I also have experience within this role in contacting customers to book in for various repairs, a service or an MOT to be carried out on their vehicle. To do this I had to establish how to navigate around IT software used and be very much in contact with all of the dealerships Benfield have.
At the moment I have a cleaning job working for a family friend in her dress making shop ‘Special Occasions’. I carry out this role a couple of hours a week in my own time.
Here I maintain a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the shop by cleaning toilets, sweeping up, cleaning windows, etc. General household chores. I maintain my cleaning using COSH regulated substances and adhere to Health an Safety rules. Cleaning is my absolute passion.
Prior to working at Benfield, I worked as a teaching assistant in a nursery. In this role I provide care and education for children through regular assessments using written commutation and various ICT facilities. We work together as a team to provide the right opportunities so that the children can reach their full potential and goals in their lives. Most of all we make the environment a fun and exciting place to be so again these goals are met.
When I was studying at school I attended a placement at Sunning Dale School. This is a school especially for children who have learning difficulties and complex individual needs. I found this kind of employment very rewarding as it was clear I made a significant difference to these children's lives. After returning to school I began attending lots of charity events and helped raise money for different charities. Marie Curie was one and also the Grace House Hospice was another. I was recognised by my tutor for my hard work and dedication and she put me forward for an award to service to the community.
In 2005 I won the award "Young Achiever of The Year". I also won another award in 2009 for ‘Young Apprentice of the Year’. I was put forward by my assessor again for all of my hard work, dedication and attitude towards my placement and work.
I also Work in the fast food industry providing excellent customer service skills to the general public. I provide these either face to face or taking high levels of calls from customers ensuring their queries are dealt with accurately and efficiently. I also adhere to Health and Safety and COSH regulations to ensure the environment is maintained safely.
When I left school I began my work experience working for Linderly Catering as a Kiosk Assistant and progressed to a Team Leader. Here I demonstrated high levels of customer service and supported colleagues to ensure that the high level is maintained.
After reading this job advert I feel that my past experience enables me to demonstrate some of the duties and skills needed to carry out this role.
I love to be around children and I do feel that you really have to have a sepecial nature to carry out any role with a child. I do believe that I have the techniques, knowledge and experience to do this and would prefer my career to further with children in a none educational environment.
I look forward to speaking to you and thank you for your time.
