Amy, childcare - SS1 Southend-on-sea

I am currently studying Education and Childhood Studies BA Hons at University in Chelmsford and hold a level 3 childcare qualification and have am a qualified first aided. I have had 6 years experience working in the childcare sector, working in various preschools and working part time in virgin active crèche running kids sports activities and looking after children from ages 6 weeks through to 10 years.

I have always loved working with children, and my passion is to eventually run my own Nursery or become a primary school teacher. However within my experience I have enjoyed working alongside children with special needs and disabilities and also feel I'd like to further my career in a special needs school or as a SENCO. I love watching children grow and seeing smiles on their faces everyday.

I also enjoy dancing in my spare time and help teach children at my local dance school.
