Kelly, home childcare in Stevenage SG1

I am a 22 year old university graduate. I am looking for childcare jobs of any kind to enhance my knowledge and experience. I have ambitions to become a family support worker once I have gained more experience and further qualifications. I will be completing a paediatric first aid course in September.

I have a experience with children from newborn to teenager. I have previously had sole charge of 3 children aged 2, 4 and 5, as well as newborn experience. I have volunteered within a school environment so I have knowledge of milestones and educational targets that children are required to meet.

I believe that I am a kind and caring childcarer who is able to set firm boundaries whilst maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

I have experience with several different types of play, messy play in particular. I believe that messy play allows children to have fun whilst learning about different textures and shapes. I also enjoy outdoor play as I am a strong believer that children should be aware of the environment around them, including the risks that they may face and how to avoid them.
