I am Portuguese, I am 27 years old and I emigrated to England a year ago looking for new opportunities that I do not have in Portugal.
In Portugal the financial situation is very complicated even for academic students like me. The last academic course that I attended in Portugal was a degree in Basic Education. However, I have not finished because I have no work in my country. For that reason, I'm applying for child care employment. I know it is the area that I love and now I need a job that can help me to conquer here in England my goal to finish my Basic Education academic course. And working with children here will be very beneficial to me because I am in my area.

I am looking to take care of children of any age because I already have a little experience in any of the age groups because I have a sister with 15 years and since she was the baby I practically took care of her because my mother had no chance because my mother was working. I always took her and went to get her at school, I always did the school homeworks with her, I would play with her in the park, I gave her a bath. When she was a baby, I used to make her biberon and change her diaper. For this reason, any age group I like.
I am willing for any kind of care, I am open to new challenges. I know how to cook and I do not mind doing some household chores if I have to.

As qualities, I am very responsible and friendly with children. I love talking and helping out what I can. I also like to do various activities with the kids. For in such a virtual world sometimes it is necessary to do some different activities with the children so that they leave a little of this technological world. For me, children are very pure beings who need to be loved and respected. However, I still do not have a very fluent English but I am unsuspecting and prescient.

As for the experience, because I attended the course of basic education, I learned many things with regard to children of any age group. For example, doing activities with didactic materials was one of the things I learned in various subjects of my course. To make children's educational games I learned a lot in Theater discipline and Motor Development discipline. I also learned several ways to approach children in the disciplines of developmental and learning psychology and Pedagogy and Lifetime Education. In the discipline of Multicultural Contexts and Education, I learned to better understand the diversity of social and cultural interaction and, when I emigrated, I complemented what I had learned theoretically in this discipline, with practice. In addition to all this, I even went on to teach Sex Education classes in a secondary school through a voluntary association.
