During my time as a nursery nurse, I have gained lots of experience with children of all ages through working in each room, where I have gained an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS and become familiar with children of all ages. In addition, I also had the role of being Room Leader of Holiday Club, resulting in having the responsibility of planning for children from the ages of 0-18 and adjusting to fit the needs of those with additional needs. I have become familiar with the policies and procedures of the setting and have learned how to implement a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. I have gained strong bonds with my guardian children, helping them to develop through the seven areas of learning and help mould them into the young children they are becoming. I also hold diplomas in social care and educational psychology, as well as my NVQ in Childcare. In addition, I am paediatric first aid trained and are trained in safeguarding children and EAL.
