I have worked with children in various nurseries and settings since completing my NVQ2 in July 2008, when I also first completed my paediatric first aid (since been refreshed), and this is something I really enjoy. I have looked after my niece who is now 8, since she was new born. I enjoy working with children of all ages, and love watching them progress and learn new things each day, feeling happy to be a part of that. I feel with my caring mature, I offer a safe and enjoyable place for the children I care for, letting them know I am there for them in all areas they may need help or assistance. During my time at nurseries I have also attended a child protection course, and had some in house epi pen training, which I found very helpful and interesting.
