Abbey, home childcare - WR1 Worcester

My name is Abbey,
I am a 27 year old female looking for full time work.
I have recently come to the end of my Paediatric Nursing degree, which unfortunately I am one theory module short of passing. I have completed all practical training and studied a long 5 years in total for the degree. Due to not completing the course, I am now looking for full time work to enable myself to save up and fund my return to university to finish my degree at some point in the future.
I am currently working as a hotel receptionist but really want to continue my work with children.
I am caring and compassionate and love to make a difference to children and families.
I have eight + years experience of child minding. Within that time I have held one full time nanny position and provided many families with regular and casual child minding. I also have a 6year old step daughter who stays with us every week form Friday-Sunday due to living an hours commute away from us.
In addition to this, more recently, I gained a vast amount of experience working with children during my three year paediatrics degree. Over the past three years I have gained experience worked with well children, poorly children, critically ill children, looked after children and challenged children. I have gained this experience by working in a number of settings; Children's inpatients, children's outpatients, Children's A&E (most recent), Neonatal intensive care unit, maternity ward/delivery suite, theatre, in the community; as a student community nurse, student school nurse and as a student health visitor.
The experience I have gained is invaluable and I want to continue helping and making a difference to children and their families whilst I take some time out before pursuing my career.
I have a full Enhanced DBS available on request and am in the process of registering with OFSTED.
