Im 19 years old and have several years experience of working with children in a school environment and a home environment. hold a CACHE level 3 in child care and I'm a qualified first aider. this qualification gave me an insite of working with children and caring for children, it gave me an understanding of children's needs. My first experience of working with children came from a role i undertook with a relatives taxi company where I chaperoned a school taxi service for children who identify as disabled or who had complex needs. I gained a further understanding into child care and the different levels of needs. I gained experience in caring for children in a home environment where I had to care for several children, i was one of two carers and my role was to supervise and partake in activities for the children such as activities that included numeracy and literacy skills. Following this i was given the opportunity to implement my skills into a school environment. I'm currently working for a teaching agency where i'm a supply teaching assistant working with children of age groups varying between 3-8. My role is to support children, to provide the correct activities for them that meets their needs. I would be described by peers, friends colleges as an ideal candidate to work with children. I am disiplined, patient, confident to work as part of a team as well as independently.
