We are looking for an Au Pair who is caring and responsible but also fun and vibrant, to fit into our family life. We are a bi-lingual family of 4 (Brazilian Portuguese) but would welcome someone from any country, including the UK, as long as the personality fits!
We have 2 beautiful, strong minded girls, Angeline (7) and Penelope (2). They attend school and nursery but we need someone to help us with mornings and evenings as we both work full time. We also have 2 lovely cats :-)
I work in finance (full-time, 3 days at the office, 2 days at home) and my husband works in the emergency services, so he does varying shifts.
We have a large 4 bedroom detatched house in a lovely village called Fordham, East of Cambridge and close to train lines which take you into London (1 hour).
We have a nice double bedroom which overlooks the garden and you would share a bathroom with the children. We also have a gym!
We like to go for walks and bike rides as a family. We also like to have parties (before Covid anyway!) with all of our friends round, we are very sociable and we love music and dance, especially being a part-Brazilian household!
Monday & Friday I work from home but still need help before and after school.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thurs I work long hours in London, so we need someone to help mainly on these days with getting the girls up and ready, driving them to school/nursery 10 mins away. Then collecting them, playing with them and preparing snacks and dinner. Sometimes we would need you to get them bathed and ready for bed.
My husband works varied shifts so he can be at home on any day, and can help, but he often needs to rest a lot because of his job.
Weekends we wouldn't need any help so you would always have these off.
We will pay for all food and toileteries, can offer the use of a car, cover mobile phone costs and pay £100/week pocket money.
I have 2 siblings and my parents nearby and we are all very close and help eachother with childcare, so you would not be alone if you ever needed help or guidance!
