Khadeeja, is looking for an au pair in Grays RM17 for the 28 January 2019

We are based in Grays, Essex and am looking for a junior nanny to live in to assist me with school drop offs and pick ups, house cleaning duties, preparing meals for my children, homework assistance, bath times and bed time responsibilities. Ideally a nanny to take sole charge whilst I’m at work.

Standard hours of work will be from:

7am to 9am - during this period the nanny will be responsible to prepare breakfast, assist the children to get ready for school. School drop off which is a 10 minute walk from our house.

9am to 10.30am:
light house cleaning duties every day which will also include laundry and any ironing.

3pm to 8pm:
School collection
Organise play, school homework, school uniform
Prepare and cook fresh meal for 5.30pm dinner.
6pm Bath/shower times.
6.30pm - Reading activities or board games
7.30pm bed time prepping.
8pm I return from work.

The post holder will be required to 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). On occasion, approx once a month I travel away for work where the nanny will be responsible for my children’s care and safety in my absence.

I am a widow with three children aged 6, 8 and 10 years of age. Two boys and one girl. Their father passed away one year ago, so they need a solid and reliable nanny.
The suitable candidate needs to be disciplined, organised, hands on, friendly and caring but firm, active, someone with a positive attitude to engage and stimulate my children by interacting with board games, puzzles, and art work.

The nanny will have their own bedroom which is on the ground floor with separate wc. The bedroom is fitted with sky tv and wardrobes.

We are situated less than 10 minutes away from Chafford Hundred Station and Lakeside Shopping Centre by car. The local amenities including Tesco’s, hair salon, nail bar, doctors surgery is a five minute walk away from our home. The local leisure centre (Blackshots) is a twenty minute walk. Banatyne Gym is a 20 minute walk where there is also a local Sainsbury’s.

I have an organised and clean open space house. My children are very engaging, kind caring and active. They are respectful, well mannered and enjoy learning new skills. All three participate with after school clubs onsite with a scheduled time-table.
