Presentation

Hello there, I’m looking for an au pair for my older children to become part of our friendly and loving family.

Cash in hand – with free accommodation and food.

I work in the media, and I would need help be caring for a 9-year-old boy and a largely self-sufficient 17-year-old girl – she would mostly need dropping off and picking up from school a few times a week. I will also share with school run for her and my son.

We live in St Margaret’s/Old Isleworth, in a beautiful large house, just a bus ride away from Richmond and the River Thames – in a safe quiet new build development.

In regard to the 9-year-old boy – he would need a little help (not too much – just getting his clothes together) – getting ready and organising him in the mornings, dropping and picking up from school which is around a 7-10 minute drive away, sorting his clothes, cooking simple/easy meals in the evening and some support with homework, or at least motivate him to do his homework.

In regard to my 17-year-old daughter, she will just need dropping off to school and picked up – either to Chelsea to meet the school bus, or at her school in Streatham.

Other duties will include organising and light housework - just making sure the kitchen is tidy, changing beds, hoovering when necessary.

Hours will be around 7.30 – 9.30am/10am and 3.30 – 8pm, Monday – Friday during term time.

You will have your own fully furnished single room with a bathroom on the same floor – and your own TV which we can set up to include Sky TV and give you your own Netflix and Disney Plus.

You must have a driving licence, but you don’t need a car, as I can give you a car to, and pay for your insurance and fuel.

Experience as an au pair would be nice, also housekeeper experience would be good, but not essential.

In terms of the area and transport – Syon Park and Richmond Park are just a bus ride away, a bus stop is just outside the development which takes you straight to St Margaret’s Station, Richmond Station or Kew. Richmond and St Margaret’s high streets have lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and retail stores and great transport links into central London.

We are interviewing now with a view to having someone starting in September or October, or even November for the right candidate.

Please do get in touch if you would like to find out more about the role.

We look forward to meeting you.
