We are a professional family, looking for a full-time nanny for our son, who will be 6-months old in October. Both parents work full time from home.

I will initially be working 4 days per week (day off most likely Wednesday, ~35h per week needed) until end of April 2021. From May 2021 onwards, I would transition to 5 days per week (40h per week needed.)

Tuesday 8-5pm
Wednesday off
Thursday 8-5pm
Friday 8-4pm
Exact hours, ex. 8 vs 8:30 etc can be agreed.

We’d like to contract a nanny for 43 weeks per year, not to include weeks when our family is on holiday. For 2020/2021 these are the weeks in question:

• 21 Dec – 3 Jan 2020 (2 weeks)
• 1 Apr – 16 April 2021 (2 weeks)
• 26 July – 29 Aug 2021 (5 weeks)

We will consider nannies who are only available during term times (which would include Feb, May, and October half terms as weeks when the nanny is not working.)

We would prefer nannies who will agree to take their paid holiday during the weeks when we don’t need them, as above.

Nanny would not be required to work on Bank holidays or weekends.

Start date: between mid-October (earliest) and 1 January (latest). Ideal start date: 9 November 2020

Contract duration: 12 months, will consider 6-months for the right candidate
Hours: 35h per week until end of April 2021, 40h per week from May 2021
Salary: £10-£12 gross per hour

Opportunity to create a nanny share from May 2021 with our neighbour whose daughter will be 12 months in May. Parents are doctors and would require about 30 “shared” hours every week and some additional hours for only their child. Their requirement would be based on 52 weeks of help.
