Are you a warm and caring individual who loves working with children? Could you provide support and encouragement with crafts, reading, gymnastics, homework, and music? If you are passionate about helping children grow and thrive, we would love to hear from you!
We are a professional, friendly and down to earth family seeking a nurturing live-out Nanny to join our busy professional family in South Knighton, Leicester. We need someone reliable, who is confident to take the lead and initiative with our two daughters' care, and who can provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for them after school and in school holidays. Our youngest daughter is nearly 5 and our eldest is 8 years old, they are very bright, creative and as their mum I would say they are a dream to look after - but then I know I am biased!
Hours and salary
Our current Nanny's last day is October 13th so we need someone from October 16th ideally, but could manage with help from family and friends until December for the right person. Hours are negotiable, but between 21.5 - 30 hours per week (this includes core hours are 2.30 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday all year round). During school holidays, we would need someone to do more hours, anywhere up to 47.5 hours per week (8.30 am to 6 pm) but this again is negotiable. We have employed two wonderful Nannies over the last 7 years, one for 5 years and one for 2 years and either would be more than happy to talk to you to share their experience. We hope to offer lots of flexibility so that it works well for all.
This is a permanent position.
Salary is subject to experience, but we expect to pay in the region of £12.50 - £15.00 per hour Gross, plus mileage and expenses and if employed (not self employed) we would of course offer pension and paid leave. We have employed our two previous nannies.
