We are looking for an experienced full time nanny to help care for our two children in Wakerley (near Barrowden, Rutland). Flexibility is essential due to the nature of our jobs. Position available as our current nanny (of two years) is stopping work for personal reasons.

Typical Hours: Typically 7.15am until 6.30pm four days a week. Flexibility essential.

Driving Licence: Required

Age of Children: 2 ¾ years & 5 months

This live out nanny role starting May 2017 is to care for a 2 ¾ year boy and, from July 2017, a 5 month old baby girl. Flexibility is essential as both parents have a varying weekly work pattern. The work pattern will be known well in advance (minimum 2 months) and will typically be 7.15am until 6.30pm four days a week.

The successful nanny will have the following qualities and skills:

• Experienced in childcare either in a nursery or as a nanny
• Age appropriate experience
• Paediatric first aid
• Reliable and flexible with hours
• Genuine love of their job
• Lots of energy and initiative
• Able driver with own car
• Likes dogs
• Able to become Ofsted registered if not already

The nanny will also be required to fulfil the following duties:

• Full nursery duties will be required, including changing nappies, planning and preparing meals, washing children’s clothes and bedding, tidying and cleaning children’s areas.
• Organise age appropriate activities
• Attend baby classes
• Dog walking
• Nursery drop off / pick up

We are looking for the nanny to start at the beginning of May 2017. There is potential for flexibility in the start date however (earlier or later) to suit the right applicant. We also have a friendly family dog, so the nanny must be happy with this.
