NANNY/GOVERNESS REQUIRED FOR TWO SWEET YOUNG CHILDREN
We need a full time, educated nanny/governess. We desire someone with an emphasis on education (they are both avid learners with above-average IQs--a mixed blessing!) to help full time with their care and educational instruction. Ronen, our five-year-old already has his numbers memorised, letters, shapes (both flat and 3D) and is currently working on phonics. He also loves planets and identifying things in nature (animals, plants, trees types of flowers, insects, etc.).
His sister Elena, (2.5 years) is close behind and absorbs as quickly as he does. They get on QUITE well and this makes it pleasurable to watch them as they have a very symbiotic relationship with little/no conflict or competition issues.
Their care will greatly consist of educational time. They both can sit and learn for hours (Ronen can sit at a project for three hours on end) and this is our primary concern. For them, learning is very fun and we wish to harness this enthusiasm as much as possible.
We will need 8 hour days, 5-6 days per week. We can be fairly flexible about whether you want sat. or sun. off. We are more concerned about the quality of care they receive. We had a Governess for two years and are broken-hearted at losing her (she could not immigrate as she was our nanny overseas). She became a trusted and valuable part of our family. We want someone with the kind of qualities she possessed in spades.
Occasional travel (perhaps twice per annum) would be important. Some years we do not travel but it would be important to know that our governess could indeed come with us if/when we go for holiday.
We DO NOT MIND OLDER APPLICANTS. We are looking for the right PERSON.
Scot Gaelic as a spoken language would be a huge plus as we would like our children to grow up with it and we ourselves have a limited vocabulary.
We would like to hear about any of your special skills, hobbies or certifications that you feel may help.
Sincerely,
Lady Hadassah Sarunac-Righetti
