Presentation
We require a temporary nanny until Christmas, preferably on a live-out basis although we could help the right candidate to find accommodation locally if required. Mum has been unwell and will have an operation in November. The role will involve a mixture of sole charge and shared care.
We are looking for someone "kind and gentle" (our daughter's words) who will understand that the children have had a tough year and are in need of some stability and TLC. We require someone who has significant experience and the ability to stay calm in a busy household with five children.
Other special requirements include supporting our eldest daughter who has type one diabetes. Full training will be given but we do require a nanny who is not needle-phobic! You must also be happy to watch dance 'shows', play 'Thunderbirds', enthuse over violin practice, go puddle splashing and give A LOT of cuddles (These are all special requirements according to the children). Mum and Dad would appreciate the children to be supported with homework/reading books, fed nutritious meals and stimulated in an age appropriate way. We also require our nanny to take the children to church on a Sunday.
Working hours will be:
Sunday 8am-1pm
Monday 8am-8pm
Tuesday 3pm-8pm
Wednesday 8am-8pm
Thursday 3pm-8pm
We may be able to be flexible with the working hours for the right candidate.
We will discuss pay with applicants.
