Part time nanny required

We are looking for a part time Nanny for 4 days - 22 hours per week.

This is a maternity cover (up to a year) position to take over from our current Nanny on a rate of £10/ hour.

The role would start from September - with a handover period beforehand - as well as some potential ad hoc work in the months prior.

The role is to look after our two children (our daughter who is 11 years old and our son who is 7 years old) four days per week between 1 - 6pm. Days would be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This could be a job share.

They are easy-going, fun children who would need giving a snack and also their tea (and, in the case of our daughter, homework supervised). Our daughter walks to and from school by herself so it would only be our son who needs collecting and his school is less than a mile from the house.

Our son is disabled and has some additional needs - but is otherwise healthy (with no underlying medical issues). He is a happy, smiley little boy, very content to play with his toys and he loves his food! Due to his needs, however, you would need to have either experience of working with children with additional needs or the desire to do so.

We would need you all year round with extra help during the school holidays.

You would ideally be able to drive, have all the necessary DBS paperwork and references.

If you’d like to talk to us about the role, or ask any questions – in particular about what our son’s needs are - please do feel free to get in touch and we’d be more than happy to give you some more information.
