Gemma, is looking for part time childcare in Compton for the 24 July 2017

We're looking for a kind, diligent and reliable nanny who is very comfortable with children. It seems like an obvious thing to say, but our daughter is at that age where she can initially feel a little nervous around strangers so the more relaxed she is, the better!

I am a freelance journalist and work from home at our house in Peasmarsh, Guildford. I will be working in an upstairs office but also travel into London once or twice a week. My husband works in property and is sometimes at home.

Ideally, we would like somebody with a car for local journeys, should there be any play centres or activities to travel to. We'd like a non smoker, who is confident preparing food for the little one and is happy to take on some light household duties related to the baby - washing / ironing, tidying / cleaning her room. The rest is simple - a fun and happy go lucky person, someone who is dependable, with a good work ethic and full of creative ideas for play.

Our last nanny recently and suddenly had to give up work for personal reasons so we are looking for someone who can start quickly.
