Before / afterschool work with holiday work and possibly overnights (non essential)
My name is Nick and I’m father to two fantastic, healthy and energetic kids, Violet (6) and Jonah (9). Living with my partner based in Macclesfield I’m looking for that specific someone to pick them up from school and look after them till I finish work. I have shared care of them both with their mum (separated) also based in Macclesfield. Based on this, the initial schedule will be Mondays and Thursdays plus every other Wednesday. As I work full time, although I haven’t done this before, I may also look at morning school drop offs, which would mean an extra hour per those days too. My job occasionally takes me away too, so I have in the back of my mind possible overnight stays too (should there mum be unable to have them certain nights).
Violet is a fun loving, caring and pretty girl into her unicorns, drawings and Roblocks (online game). She loves building with Lego too. She is active outside and loves riding her scooter.
Jonah is a legend! Very handsome and intelligent, he loves engaging in conversation and is a master Minecraft and Lego builder. Jonah has also been diagnosed with level 2 Autism. So what does this really mean? Well apart from functioning like any other 9 year old boy, school etc etc, Jonah’s Brain is very active. He is on the go all the time, talking, chatting, thinking. He requires constant attention for this activity, nothing special, just good solid contact with him and his interests. He can get frustrated quickly sometimes, however, with the right person whom he loves to be around and who engages him he is quite literally the best! So funny and witty, he is always the clown.
They really are great kids so if the above sounds like the perfect position for you and your personality and ethics, please get in touch. The kids and I will personally arrange to meet with you so you can meet them.
I have been trying to find childcare now for a few months with little or no success. I possibly feel my requirements are a little low for some, so even if you feel the hours are a little less, please get in touch. I am prepared, if need be, to look at more hours on the other days for the right person.
