Nanny/Housekeeper Role - Helmdon, Northamptonshire - Starting April/May 21

We are looking for a great Nanny/Housekeeper to join our family for 3 days a week from April/May 2021 (Monday, Thursday and Friday + ad hoc babysitting).

The standard hours will be 33:

Monday (7.30am-6.30pm)
Thursday (8am-7pm)
Friday (7.30am-6.30pm)

We have two children, a girl (7) and a boy (4) and are based in Helmdon, Northamptonshire.

We are looking for someone who bursts with energy, confidence and positivity, who can set boundaries, be firm but is also full of love and cuddles. Someone who loves nothing more than putting on the children's wellies and playing in the garden, kicking a ball, planting vegetables, snuggling on the sofa with a book, creating an invention out of egg boxes and paints or having a party with lots of friends.

Also someone who is proactive, organized, takes initiative and is able to complete tasks to a high standard with strong attention to detail.

The role will include:

Nanny Duties
All aspects of care for the children - wrap around care for both children outside of nursery and school hours (9-3/3.15) and during holidays. The children will attend a local school and nursery. They will need to be walked to school in the morning and picked up at the end of the day.
Preparing well balanced and nutritious meals for the children and ad hoc food shopping.
Preparing/organising suitable activities to form part of the daily routine (creative play, playdates etc.)
Supporting both children with their homework (e.g. reading, writing and maths etc.)
Coping with illness for either child and administering medicine, as required.

Housekeeping Duties
Household duties such as general cleaning (mopping, vacuum cleaning, dusting, bathrooms etc.), ironing, laundry, emptying the dishwasher and bins (when required) and the odd errand.
Other Points
Good English essential.
Non-smoker
A confident and experienced driver with a clean driving licence and own car (to be able to drive children if needed)
First aid trained
Up to date DBS
Excellent references required
