Friendly after-school & evening help wanted – Upper Basildon (RG8)
I'm looking for a friendly, reliable person to become a regular part of our family routine every other week, helping primarily during the afternoons and early evenings.
I have three children aged 17, 15 and 10, so the role is less about traditional childcare and more about providing an extra pair of hands and some company, particularly for my youngest, while helping keep things running smoothly.
The afternoons would typically involve school pick-up, taking the children to occasional activities, being around at home, preparing a simple evening meal and helping with a few light household jobs.
Typical hours
Every other week, from Friday evening through to the following Thursday evening
Afternoons: approximately 3.00–6.00pm
Two mornings: approximately 8.00–9.00am, but these are flexible and certainly not essential
Some additional help during school holidays and half-term would also be really welcome
I'm hoping to find one lovely, dependable person who gets to know us and the children, rather than arranging different people each time.
You'll need to be able to drive and have your own car because of school pick-ups and activities.
We're based in Upper Basildon, RG8 and would ideally love to find someone who lives fairly locally.
