Hi, my name is Sabrina. I am a trustworthy individual who loves to learn and read books. I am a very responsible, organised person and my skills have built up over the years from the type of jobs that i have been in. Before i decided to go into childcare, i was an appointment maker and a singer, songwriter. I was apart of a group called dreams. We had 10 members altogether aged from 19-45. We were a vocal group who performed at various places and also entered a competition called 'last choir standing' which was televised in 2009. We made it to the semi finals because of our dedication and hard work. As a part of the group, we recruited younger children to start a new group called 'young dreemz'. I trained them, giving them vocal lessons and teaching them about breathing exercises that would enhance their skills and make them more confident. In doing this, i became more familiar with the role of a vocal tutor and i decided to go into childcare. I now have an NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare and have had the opportunity to work for one of the best private day nurseries in the country. I am enthusiastic about working with children and have experience in babysitting as well as looking after children in a nursery/school setting. I am very patient and have excellent life skills which have helped me to become the carer i am today. I am the type of person who gives more than i take because that is not only apart of my values as a person of faith who have grown up with Christian values, but also apart of who i am as a person. I have experience with serving food in a nursery, playing games with children, singing and dancing, changing nappies, toileting, potty training and sleep time etc. I don't mind working late night shifts as i am quite flexible and i know that every parent deserves a break no matter the time or day.
