Judy, nanny - BS2 Bristol

I am 46 years old and have worked with children all my life.
I have a 22 year old daughter who has just got a first in Mathematics at Bristol University and a 16 year old son in Year 11.
I was a Nanny/ Mother's Help before i had my own children and have looked after others children alongside my own in my own home.
For the last 10 months i have been looking after a premature baby from the age of 4 1/2 months until she was 15 months. I had sole charge for 4 days a week. I took her to toddler groups, the zoo, farm, parks, the library and baby clinic for vaccinations. I made her fresh meals every day and babysat at weekends
I worked as an SMSA at my local Nursery for 11 years before being made redundant in July 2014. I studied for my NVQ Level 3 there for one year also.
I also worked in my local primary school after school club for 3 years and left in July to find something with more hours.
I swim 3-4 times a week, cycle every where and have never felt fitter.
I love being around children because they are so enthusiastic/energetic and have such vivid imaginations.
I love being creative with kids, i made sock puppets with the children at after school club and they loved learning to sew and taking home their masterpieces at the end of the day. I have experience of playing most board games and outdoor games.
My priorities are keeping children safe from harm, whilst allowing them to explore their surroundings/well being/ nurturing/encouraging/friendship/listening/patience/duty of care/your child will be my number one priority.
