My name I Bethany and I have experience working and caring for children, I worked in an American childrens summer camp where I lived in a bunk with 10 children and assisted them with daily activities such as bed and hygiene routines. During this time I also learnt a great deal of games and activities that can be played to entertain and also educate children. I also have experience teaching children English (I have a TEFL qualification) and also teaching crafts to over 50 children a day. I have also worked with children during my role in Victim Support and am fully trained to deal with difficult and often upsetting situations involving children, which has allowed me to develop a strong ability to communicate with children effectively, even when dealing with sensitive situations.

My education and previous employment has allowed me to developed strong verbal/communication skills, literacy skills, patience and the ability to handle a large variety of situations that I may face. I feel strongly that I am up to any challenges that may be posed by this position and am excited about this opportunity.
