Natasha, nanny - CF62 Barry

Hi, My name is Natasha and I have worked with children in a daycare setting for 4 years.
I have worked with children from 6 weeks-5 years. I have also gained my level 2 in childcare.
I love children and I am a very energetic and creative person. I worked full time at a local Day Nursery.
My main duty was the care of the children. I ensured there was a safe, secure, happy and loving environment for the children at all times.
I also did planning to ensure there was a structure to everyday with various activities and to keep the children stimulated and maintain an organised setting. I did my planning sheets 2 months in advance to ensure enough time to gather all resources needed for activities, I also had a different topic for each month e.g. under the sea, space, nursery rhymes to focus my planning on.
Other duties included maintaining the cleanliness of the nursery and preparing food. Whilst working at the Nursery I went on numerous training including:
- First Aid.
- Level 2 award in Food safety.
- NDNA Planning and observation training.
- Online Citation courses.
I have also achieved my level 2 in youth work and have volunteered at youth centres with children aged 7-18
