Laney, nanny - L8 Liverpool

My name is Laney and I am currently living in Liverpool. My last two jobs have taken me to Switzerland, France and more recently, south England. I am well mannered, articulate nanny, with an understanding and interest in children and their development. I am kind, caring, full of energy and possess strong morals. I consider myself to be organised, creative and self motivated and when it comes to the children in my care I have sound judgement and I am always prepared to handle any emergency. I love the job I do and I am one hundred percent committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children I care for. For the families I work for, I am trustworthy, responsible and reliable.

I was born and lived in Kenya, Africa until I was 17 years old, my family then moved back to the UK where I finished my education and then started working. My previous work experience was in the hospitality industry. I worked as a waitress and barmaid to begin with and then was soon promoted into a management position when I was 19. My career remained in the hospitality business, where I feel I have gained strong skills in organisation, building strong relationships and a great deal of patience. I have always ‘had a way’ with children and wanted to change my career in order to work with children but the opportunity never arose until last year when I was given the opportunity to work with the Scott family.
