Mary, nanny in Leicester

My name is Mary. I have 3 grown up boys and 5 grandchildren. Previously, I have worked as a special needs teaching assistant in primary and secondary schools.

I am a very organised, patient and caring person. I like to be with young people and am interested in listening to them.

Until recently, I ran a Brownie Pack so I am used to playing games and doing activities. In my spare time I play the violin and keyboard, do handicrafts such as patchwork, art and needlepoint. I have a pet cat and some rats. In the past, I have had rabbits, guinea pigs and a dog.

I am not very sporty but am prepared to have a go or accompany children to leisure activities.

I am also prepared to help with homework and cook simple meals/snacks.
