I lived in Germany for 28 years and have now decided to return home, for a new chapter in my life. I am British, single and flexible and very happy to fit in with varying hours, perhaps also helping Mum with some shopping, answering the phone and generally being Mum's right hand. Doing school runs or supervising and checking homework will naturally, be taken in my stride. I am fun, a little crazy (only in my humour) and usually loved by kids. I build up a great rapport very quickly, and using some fantasy with activities for kids, I think they will enjoy me as much as I enjoy them. Bedtime stories and cuddles when they are under the weather comes naturally to me. I am also more than happy to travel on holiday with the family if this is wished. I love encouraging an inquisitive interest in languages, different foods and cultures, coupled with a little geography to give children enquiring minds. I think the young ones also need to learn limits, respect and good manners, but this should be shown by example. I love sewing, so with little girls there would be a lot of fun with sewing things for their dollies. I, myself, have two sons, and I grew up with them, in their sports, whether it was football, basketball, tennis or camping - I have done them all.
