Stephanie, home childcare in Sunderland

I am 18 years old and have always enjoyed caring for children, from family members to babysitting for family friends. I completed a health and social care course from 2010-2012 giving me a 10 week experience in a private day care with children of the ages of 0-5 years as well as 10 weeks in a residential care home. I then went on to recently complete a 2 year childcare course resulting in a Btec national diploma in childrens care, learning and development. Throughout these two years I have gained experience in both primary and private day care settings being involved in childrens care routines as well as planning activities, following routines and taking observations on the children. I am familiar with rules, procedures and regulations when working in a childcare setting meaning I am confident in putting them into practice in future jobs.
