Selma, looking for a babysitter in The mumbles

Hi,

We are a small family who recently moved to Mumbles. As we have no family nearby, we are in need of someone who can occasionally babysit our little toddler, Caden. He is just under 2 years old and is our only child. We also have a kind and calm golden retriever, Max, living with us.

For us it would be important that the baby sitter is eager to get to know Caden and his needs and be very responsive, nurturing and comforting. Although we respect other parenting styles, ‘crying it out’ and ‘learning from their mistakes’ would not be for us.

Caden is a very kind and happy little boy that is quite easily pleased (most of the time :) ) but, just like with any toddler, patience and confidence will be needed when minding him.

Before leaving him alone with the babysitter the first time, we would prefer a good connection to already have been established. That is why we may have to do a few trials with us present to make sure Caden feels safe and happy to be left alone with the person.
