Hello, my name is Caitlin. Im originally from London and my husband is from Hull, we have two young boys Baxter(20m) and Barnaby(4m) and my husband has just started back at work full time after a long period of absence (pre covid) so I’m looking for an extra pair of helping hands in the week.
I don’t yet have my driving licence so getting out is difficult on my own. I’m looking for someone I can get on with (plus having another adult to talk to!) who can also help me take the boys out to the park or wherever, we love being outside, maybe cook a bit of breakfast/prep for the evening meal or watch the boys while I do as I do enjoy cooking, help with watching baby at nap time for my toddler etc.. just an extra pair of hands really, I’ve gotten far too used to my husband being around all the time! Haha.. mornings would be preferable, my toddler always goes down for a nap about 12/1pm so would only need someone until then.
We love to read books, get outside whenever we can, go to local activities and make big messes (paint/flour/ ‘baking’ etc..) :) we try not to watch too much TV but Baxter loves Mr Tumble and learns quite a lot from him (signing etc) and I’ve been relying on him quite a lot recently to get Barnaby down for a nap in peace - would rather I didn’t have to resort to the Tv!
Roughly 8/9am start to give us a good head start getting out of the house! 2-3 times per week, we’re pretty flexible & the days would most likely change per week depending on events and availability etc…
We are just about to move house, end of July 2023, but only round the corner to Trinity road.
Requirements;
- Prepping food/light cleaning (just tidying up after yourself, I’m quite a tidy person & like things organised, not sure how well that will go down ans the boys get older though.. haha!)
- Getting out of the house, driving licence preferable but even just a stroll to the park
- Help with nap time, Barnaby has a knack for waking up or needing to be put down, generally just being quite fussy, at the exact same time as Baxters nap and it’s always a bit of a mad dash. Once eldest down he sleeps for 2+ hours so wouldn’t need someone for the afternoons.
- Baxter will start potty training soon so help with that would be great & Barnaby is slowly settling into a sleep routine but still quite young to have set times, he wakes when he wakes!
