Alex, looking for a nanny in St albans

We are easy going, friendly and loving people and parents to an amazing little boy called James who is 6 years old. We have a lot of fun together.

We have had a brilliant nanny, but due to personal circumstances she has had to stop working immediately and unexpectedly and so we are looking for a new nanny to join our family. We will also consider a temporary nanny whilst we look for our new permanent nanny.

The most important thing to us in a nanny is someone who really cares about our son, who is gentle and nurturing with him and willing to teach him boundaries and to be responsible in a gentle and loving way.

We need childcare Monday - Friday every week, 7:30am-9am and 3-6/6:30pm (end time varies depending on the day of the week). This is 24 hours a week and extra hours are available for helping out with things like family shopping and running errands.

During school holidays we tend to organise holiday clubs ~3 days a week, so on those days the hours would be similar to term time and on the remaining days it would be helpful if you could do a full day so he could have play dates or some time relaxing at home.

There's the opportunity for extra hours in the evenings or weekends too if that's of interest.

Our precious nannies have been able to do full days on the very odd occasion that James isn't well enough to go to school - so this would be helpful, but is super rare (I think it happened once in the last year).

We’re open to nannies who are looking to bring their own child. Our son is great with little ones :)

We need a driver who can take James to/from school and other activities.
