Hi although I have no professional qualifications I have looked after children since I was about 12 including my younger brothers and sister and had babysitting jobs also. Until recently I was child minding my niece and two nephew's (I can obtain excellent references from my sister and her partner). My day with the children started at 8 am every weekday by getting the 2 eldest to school and nursery whilst spending a few hours looking after the youngest boy who is 2 years old till 11.20 am when I would take him back to pick up the oldest boy who is 4 years old and take them back to their house to make dinner. At 3 pm we would walk back to the school to pick up my niece who is 9. Throughout the day we would read books, play games, bake cakes, painting or go to the park or for nature walks. I would spend some of the day doing minor chores such as, washing up, hovering, cleaning up toys after the children. Although I was never paid any actual money I found this work very rewarding and fulfilling, giving me lots to look forward to and everyday being filled. I am 37 years old with plenty of life experience and common sense too. I believe that children are the future and deserve respect and consideration and need diversity and challenges to their everyday day life. I would be more than willing to get offsted approved and take courses in first aid administration.
